TESTIMONIALS

By far the best side trip my wife and I ever booked in our 30 years of traveling. Yes, getting to hold the tiny puppies was amazing, but I enjoyed their presentation even more! To get a real look into the life of a real family raising and racing Iditarod athletes was fascinating. Mike and Caitlin have a passion that you can’t help feeling yourself by the time your visit is over. The whole team there was friendly and super engaging. If you love dogs or sports or freedom or following a dream or just meeting great people, take this tour!

“Absolutely one of the best “must sees” in Alaska! Personal, educational, heartwarming and entertaining to get to know the Santos family, their story, their amazing dogs and Mike’s Iditarod experiences as shared by Caitlyn Santos. Loved holding and petting the puppies. More than worth the cost and time!!! Thank you Santos family for sharing your life passions!”

We just did an excursion here through our Princess Alaska Land and Sea Tour, and it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! You not only get to see and hold all of the puppies, but you get to learn all about what it takes to be in the Iditarod Race. Learning about the sled dogs and their training and care was incredibly interesting. I loved all of the stories and information that Caitlin, the wife of the musher, and our bus driver, told to us. It gave us such a real glimpse of day to day life in rural Alaska. My family and I simply loved it!!!

We visited Dog Gone It on a Norwegian tour. I’ve been to other mushing presentations on other cruises, but their’s was hands down the best. They are so knowledgeable and the presentation was comprehensive and balanced. My family thoroughly enjoyed it!
